Khas essence -1 tsp
Water- 3 cups
Sugar - 4 cups
Green food color - as required

Keep a pan on gas, add water and sugar and cook both on low heat. Allow the sugar to dissolve properly. After the sugar dissolves, cook it on low heat till it thickens. When the syrup is ready you turn off the gas. Now add khas essence and green food color to it. After it cools down, store it in a glass bottle. When serving the sherbet, take some syrup and add water and ice as needed and serve.
