Gandhinagar: Order to submit report of damage caused by unseasonal rain within a week

Gandhinagar News: According to preliminary estimates, standing crops of cotton, castor and tuvar spread over three to four lakh hectares in the state have been affected due to rain.

Gandhinagar News: It has been ordered to hand over the report of the damage to the agricultural crops due to unseasonal rain within a week. The damage survey will be completed within a week and the report will be submitted to the Chief Minister. Agriculture Minister Raghavji Patel has given a clear order to the officials in this regard. An order has been given to conduct a survey on a priority basis in the places where more unseasonal rains have occurred. The Agriculture Minister has ordered a review meeting on crop damage caused by unseasonal rains.

According to preliminary estimates, standing crops of cotton, castor and tuvar spread over three to four lakh hectares in the state have been affected due to rain. Unseasonal rains have caused huge losses to farmers. Farmers are devastated. Crops including cotton, wheat, chickpea, sorghum, onion, chilli have been severely damaged. Farmers' worries have increased.

After unseasonal rains in Gujarat, the cold has increased. Traffic was affected due to low visibility. A rosy chill was felt with the mist and many places had a delightful view. The state has witnessed cold spell with wind.

Gandhinagar News: કમોસમી વરસાદના કારણે ખેતી પાકને થયેલા નુકસાનીનો રિપોર્ય એક સપ્તાહમાં સોંપવા આદેશ કરવામાં આવ્યો છે. એક સપ્તાહમાં નુકસાનીનો સર્વે પૂર્ણ કરી મુખ્યમંત્રી સમક્ષ રિપોર્ટ મુકાશે. આ અંગે કૃષિમંત્રી રાઘવજી પટેલે અધિકારીઓને સ્પષ્ટ આદેશ આપ્યો છે. જે સ્થળે વધુ કમોસમી વરસાદ થયો ત્યાં પ્રાથમિકતાના ધોરણે સર્વે કરવા આદેશ અપાયો છે. કમોસમી વરસાદથી થયેલા પાકને નુકસાન અંગેની સમીક્ષા બેઠકમાં કૃષિમંત્રીએ આદેશ આપ્યો છે.

પ્રાથમિક અંદાજ મુજબ રાજ્યમાં ત્રણથી ચાર લાખ હેક્ટરમાં ફેલાયેલા કપાસ, એરંડા અને તુવેરના ઉભા પાકને વરસાદને કારણે અસર થઈ છે. કમોસમી વરસાદથી ખેડૂતોને મોટું નુકસાન થયું છે. ખેડૂતો પાયમાલ થઇ ગયાં છે. કપાસ, ઘઉં, ચણા, જુવાર, ડુંગળી, મરચા સહિતના પાકને ભારે નુકસાન થયું છે. ખેડૂતોની ચિંતામાં વધારો થયો છે.

હવામાન વિભાગે ફરી માવઠાની આગાહી કરી છે. ગુરૂવાર અને શુક્રવારે રાજ્યમાં માવઠું વરસી શકે છે. દ. ગુજરાતના સુરત,નવસારી, ડાંગ,તાપીમાં માવઠાની શક્યતા છે. સૌરાષ્ટ્રના અમરેલી, ભાવનગરમાં કમોસમી વરસાદની શક્યતા છેય સંઘ પ્રદેશ દમણ, દાદરાનગર હવેલીમાં માવઠાની આગાહી છે. માવઠાની સાથે ઠંડીનું પણ જોર વધશે. રાજ્યમાં લઘુતમ તાપમાનમાં બેથી ત્રણ ડિગ્રીનો ઘટાડો થશે.

હવામાન નિષ્ણાત અંબાલાલ પટેલની મોટી આગાહી સામે આવી છે. હવામાન નિષ્ણાત અંબાલાલ પટેલે જણાવ્યું કે, હજુ માવઠું પીછો નહીં છોડે. કરા સાથે માવઠું થશે અને હાડ થીજવતી ઠંડી પડશે. 2થી 4 ડિસેમ્બરમાં પશ્ચિમ વિક્ષેપો આવશે. એક પછી એક પશ્ચિમી વિક્ષેપો આવશે. પશ્ચિમી વિક્ષેપોની વૈશ્વિક અસરો પણ થાય છે. તેમણે 2થી 16 ડિસેમ્બર સુધી દક્ષિણ ભારતમાં ભારે વરસાદની આગાહી કરી છે. 2થી 4 ડિસેમ્બરમાં બંગાળના ઉપસાગરમાં ભારે ચક્રવાત થશે. 8 ડિસેમ્બર સુધી ચક્રવાતનું જોર રહેશે. ચક્રવાતનાં કારણે દક્ષિણ- પૂર્વિય ભાગોમાં વરસાદ થશે. ભેજવાળા પવનો પશ્ચિમી વિક્ષેપો સાથે મર્જ થશે. વાદળવાયુ વાતાવરણ અને વરસાદ થશે. ભારે પવન અને કરા સાથે વરસાદ થઈ શકે છે. ઉત્તરના પર્વતીય પ્રદેશમાં ભારે હિમવર્ષા થશે. અંબાલાલ પટેલે જણાવ્યું કે, 2 થી 16 ડિસેમ્બરમાં પશ્ચિમી વિક્ષેપો આવશે. 19થી 22 ડિસેમ્બરમાં વધુ એક પશ્ચિમી વિક્ષેપ આવશે. ઉત્તરનાં પર્વતિય પ્રદેશમાં ભારે હિમવર્ષા થશે. રાજ્યમાં ગાત્રો થીજવતી ઠંડી પડશે. 9થી 16 ડિસેમ્બરમાં ગાત્રો થીજવતી ઠંડી પડશે.

Eligibility Criteria for Gujarat Postal Circle Recruitment 2023

Educational Qualification: (i) For the posts of Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant: –a) Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University. b) Knowledge of working on computers.
(ii) For the posts of Postman / Mail Guard: –a) 12th standard pass from a recognized Board.
b) Should have passed local language of the concerned Postal Circle or Division as one of the subjects in 10th standard or above. Local language of a Postal Circle or Division shall be as at Annexure-2.
c) Knowledge of working on Computer. d) Valid license to drive two-wheeler or Light Motor Vehicle (For the post of Postman only). Persons with Benchmark Disability are exempted from the possession of license.
Note 1.- A person not possessing the knowledge of local language of the Postal Circle or Division concerned shall also be eligible for appointment. However, such person after appointment shall pass local language test to be conducted in the manner as may be decided by the Postal Circle concerned and passing of such local language test shall be a pre-condition for completion of probation.
Note 2.- A person not possessing a valid license to drive two-wheeler or light motor vehicle shall also be eligible for appointment for Postman. However, such person not having valid license to drive two-wheeler or light motor vehicle at the time of appointment shall not earn periodical increment in pay till production of such license or for a period of five years from the date of appointment, whichever is earlier, and after production of such license or expiry of such five years period, pay shall be restored prospectively to the level pay would have reached had the periodical increment in pay was not withheld and no arrears of pay shall be paid for the intervening period.
