RRC WCR Recruitment 2023-24 invites online applications for 3015 posts of Railway Recruitment Cell Act Apprentice of West Central Railway (RRC WCR), Jabalpur. Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for Apprenticeship training under the Apprentice Act, 1961 at various units/workshops of West Central Railway. A total of 3015 slots are available for engagement in designated trades.
This Central Notification covers Apprenticeship Opportunities in various Departments/Units of West Central Railway. Eligible and interested candidates can apply online only through RRC online website.

Division Wise Slot Allocation:
Candidates will be engaged in various units, and the number of slots available for each unit, categorized by various departments, is indicated in Annexure “A”.

BPL Section 603 Slots
Kota Division 853 slots
CRWS BPL 170 slots
WRS quota 196 slots
HQ/JBP 29 slots
Educational Qualification
Candidates should have passed 10th class or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks and should have National Trade Certificate, NCVT/ SCVT.
Age limit
Minimum 15 years and maximum 24 years
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit can be relaxed up to 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category.
Application Fee
Application and Processing Fee: Rs. 136/- for all candidates except
SC/ST, PwBD and Women (who only pay Rs. 36/- as processing fee).

RRC WCR Jabalpur Apprentice Recruitment 2023-24 Selection Process
The selection process for RRC WCR Apprentice recruitment consists of several stages to ensure comprehensive evaluation of candidates. The selection mode includes the following steps:
Online Application: Interested candidates need to submit their application through the official website of RRC WCR. Online application is the initial step of the selection process.
Merit List: Selection is mainly based on the merit list prepared from the educational qualification of the candidates. Merit list is prepared from the marks obtained in matriculation and ITI examinations.
Document Verification: Candidates shortlisted from the merit list undergo document verification. During this stage, candidates are required to produce their original certificates and documents for verification.
Medical Examination: Selected candidates undergo a thorough medical examination to ensure that they meet the prescribed medical standards for the respective trade.
Final Selection: Final selection is based on the combined performance of merit list, document verification and medical examination. Successful candidates are then notified for further action.
