Coronavirus મહામારી પર આવ્યા મોટા ખબર.... હવે નહીં આવે ત્રીજી લહેર!

The big coronavirus epidemic came to know .... now the third wave will not come!

Cases of the coronavirus have been steadily declining in the country, with 26,000 new cases of the infection reported on Tuesday and 252 people dying from the corona. According to AIIMS director Dr Randeep Guleria, the coronavirus is no longer an epidemic. However, he cautioned that caution should be exercised until everyone in India gets vaccinated. Everyone needs to avoid crowds, especially at festivals.

Corona will not be completely eliminated

Dr. Guleria said that the number of cases registered in India is now between 25,000 and 40,000. If people are careful, this case will gradually decrease. However, Corona will not be completely eliminated. But given the rapid pace of vaccination in India, it is now difficult for the corona to take the form of an epidemic or spread on a large scale.

AIIMS director Guleria says the coronavirus will soon turn into the common flu, such as a mild cough and cold, as people now have immunity to the virus. But for the sick and people with weakened immunity, the virus will still be life-threatening.

The important thing to do on a booster dose

The question still on the minds of vaccinators is whether the vaccine will provide lifelong protection or whether booster doses will need to be taken again after a while. In response to this question, Dr. Guleria said that the priority in India is to vaccinate all people and give them two doses. Children should also be vaccinated. Only then should the booster dose be emphasized.

He said that in view of the fact that all the countries of the world should be vaccinated, the Government of India has spoken of resuming the Vaccine-Friendly Program in October. In April, the Indian government temporarily stopped donating vaccines to other countries, giving priority to Indians, but the AIIMS director said that if people in any country in the world could not get vaccinated, it would put every country at risk.

Vaccination of all by December

Doctor Guleria says the virus can re-emerge from anywhere. In this direction, India is fulfilling its responsibility by distributing vaccines to the world. However after a while booster doses can be given to the sick, the elderly, or people with weakened immunity. It is also not necessary to mix booster doses with the same vaccine that was given before the vaccine. A booster dose of a new vaccine can also be taken. However, a policy will be formulated first.

He says some people may need a booster dose. This booster dose can also be taken with another vaccine. But it will be decided, first of all, it is necessary to vaccinate. Then comes the booster dose. Dr Guleria said the target was to vaccinate everyone by December.
