Central employees may get good news in the midst of Holi festival. The government has announced an increase in inflation allowance. According to a report, it is likely to be announced at the Union Cabinet meeting on March 16.



There may be a seal between the discussions

According to a report, a meeting of the Union Cabinet on March 16, chaired by PM Modi, may allow discussion on inflation allowances and inflation relief (DA) for central government employees. The government is expected to increase the inflation allowance by up to 3 percent.


The inflation allowance will increase to 34%

Currently, the inflation allowance is 31%. After an increase of 3%, it is expected to increase to 34%. If this decision is taken by the government, it will benefit more than 50 lakh central employees and more than 65 lakh pensioners.

Effective January 1!

The government has decided to increase the inflation allowance. It will take effect on January 1, 2022. It is hoped that the pay hike and arrears will be credited to the central employees soon.
