The state is witnessing a sudden surge in corona cases following the arrival of Omicron cases. Govt. 10 and 12 boards and std. The 9th to 11th annual exams have been postponed for two weeks. Due to this now std. The 10th and 12th board exams will start from March 28 instead of March 14. Also, the summer vacation has been moved back.

Std.10, 12 board exams moved back two weeks
The Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education today announced that in the interest of students studying in Std. It has been decided to extend the dates of Std-10 and 12 board exams, practical exams as well as annual exams of Std-9 and 11.
Moving back from the exam will allow the course to be completed
As per the decision made by the government in the situation of Kovid-19 in the academic year 2021-22, direct educational work has been started in schools from 15/07/2021 to Std-12 and from 26/07/2021 in Std-9 to 11 schools. . In order to complete the syllabus and also to give more time to the students to prepare for the Std-10 and Std-12 board exams, the government has taken a student-friendly decision to postpone the Std-10 and Std-12 board exams by two weeks.

32 lakh students of Std. 9 to 12 will get relief
This decision of the Gujarat Government will benefit an estimated 32 lakh students of Std-9 to 12 of secondary / higher secondary schools recognized by Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education. Students will be able to prepare well for the exam. As well as doing well in the exam will be able to join the next higher studies of their choice. Thus, the decision of Gujarat Government will provide huge opportunities to the students to prepare well for further studies. As well as they will be able to brighten their careers.
