How much milk should be drunk daily

The same parameter is not suitable for everyone so the need attached to each person's milk also depends on his age. To find out which person should drink how much milk according to their age.


1 to 3 years: Children from one to three years of age should drink 100 to 200 ml of milk daily. So that they can get the proper amount of calcium with age. In addition to milk, you can also give milk and yogurt products to children.

4 to 10 years: Four to 10-year-olds need to drink 200 to 300 millimeters of milk daily. Which helps in strengthening their bones. They should also be given other dairy products.

11 to 18 years: Children between the ages of eleven and eighteen should be given at least 3 cups of milk daily as during this time their physical and mental development increases rapidly and milk can help them.

People over the age of 18: According to a report by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), people over the age of 18 should drink 1 to 2 glasses of milk daily, as at this age they need 600 mg of calcium per day.

Do not eat this thing with milk


Don't eat fruit with milk - Many people like things like banana shake, mango shake, strawberry shake very much. But experts with Ayurveda also believe that milk should not be mixed with fruit and drunk with milk. According to Ayurveda, the effect of milk is cold while the effect of banana, strawberry, mango, etc. fruits is hot. Eating hot and cold foods mixed together can have a detrimental effect on the digestive system and can lead to problems such as constipation, colds, coughs, allergies, and rashes.

Don't eat sour things with milk - Vitamin-rich or any sour fruit like orange, lemon, citrus, amla, cherry, etc. should never be eaten with milk. According to Ayurveda, doing this can make milk toxic and also increases your risk of getting skin diseases along with digestion.

Don't eat protein with milk - Never mix milk with other sources of protein (Avoid Milk with other proteins). This is the reason why milk should never be consumed with meat, chicken, fish, lentils, etc. as all these things are a good source of protein and milk also contains protein. Doing this can lead to heaviness in the stomach and problems associated with digestion.
