A special meeting was held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of state education minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama. In which it was decided that Std. 1 to 12 schools in the state will not start in the month of June. But in order not to spoil the education of millions of students, thematic books will be delivered to the homes of every student. Teachers will deliver these books to students' homes.

For college education, the online education work of semesters 3,5 and 7 will be started from June 21. After the cabinet meeting, the meeting of the education department discussed a number of issues such as when to start school, admission process, facilities for students. About two lakh teachers from the primary department and about 1.25 lakh from the higher secondary department will deliver books to each student's home.

Students will also get online education from channels like Doordarshan. Earlier, Education Secretary VT Mandora had clarified that school administrators should provide relief to parents in this time of epidemic by charging fees. On the other hand, school is closed now. The session has not started so there is no question of asking for fees.

It was also recently announced to start the online admission process for science students. On the other hand, no date for the result of the board examination has been announced yet. The result of Std. 10 and 12 Commerce is yet to be declared. There is a good chance that some colleges will start the admission process subject to certain rules after their arrival.
